Site Location: Crewkerne
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.24 - £17.61 per hour

Due to continued business growth, gap personnel are recruiting for General Food Operator to join the team at Yeo Valley in Crewkerne. These roles are available with immediate starts.

As a General Food Operator, you will be helping with the day-to-day running of the production line, making sure products are made safely, correctly, and on time.

Main duties and responsibilities:

·         Supporting the fruit production process

·         Preparing, handling, and processing fruit products in line with production requirements

·         Monitoring product quality and reporting any concerns

·         Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

·         Working effectively as part of the production team to meet daily targets

·         Carrying out cleaning activities within the Fruit Department

·         Cleaning and sanitising production equipment and work areas

·         Following Cleaning in Place (CIP) procedures and schedules

·         Ensuring all cleaning records and procedures are completed correctly

·         Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

 

What we are looking for:

·         Reliable and hardworking individuals

·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·         Good communication skills

·         Comfortable working in a food production environment

·         Understanding of hygiene standards and attention to detail

·         Previous production or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
