On-site Contract Manager

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 06:00am-15:30pm (flexibility required to meet client needs)
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of a high-volume on-site recruitment contract, ensuring client expectations and service level agreements are consistently achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all recruitment and workforce-related matters.
  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of temporary workers to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Manage workforce planning and fulfilment to support fluctuating client demands and operational peaks.
  • Conduct regular site visits, workforce reviews, and client meetings to ensure service excellence and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance of temporary workers, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including right-to-work checks, referencing, and adherence to company and legislative standards.
  • Produce and present regular management information reports including fulfilment rates, headcount, turnover, absence, and other key performance indicators.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives to improve worker satisfaction, attendance, retention, and productivity.
  • Handle employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary meetings, grievances, and welfare discussions in line with company procedures.
  • Work closely with branch teams and recruitment consultants to ensure a continuous pipeline of suitable candidates.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and workforce management systems to support operational efficiency and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, service improvements, and additional recruitment support requirements.
  • Support the achievement of financial and non-financial targets, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction objectives are met.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within recruitment, account management, or an on-site management role.
  • Strong understanding of temporary workforce management, preferably within the industrial or logistics sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues effectively.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.
  • Confident using CRM systems, workforce management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful reports to support operational decisions.
  • A proactive, flexible, and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
