<div class="description">What are the working hours?
The normal working week is 37.5 paid hours.
What breaks will I get?
You will receive a 30-minute paid lunch break plus two 15-minute unpaid breaks during your shift.
Is overtime available?
Yes! Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates:
1.3x after 37.5 hours
1.5x for Saturdays
2x for Sundays and bank holidays
What PPE do I need to wear?
Hi-vis, safety shoes and safety goggles must be worn on site.
Don't worry about the hi-vis or safety goggles — these are provided for you.
What type of contract is available?
The roles are offered on a temporary ongoing basis. However, exceptional candidates may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract.</div>

We are currently recruiting for Weekend Manufacturing Operatives to work within the Pre-Finishing department at global manufacturing giants Howmet Aerospace, located at Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2.
You will be joining a company of innovators and makers. Howmet are transforming the future of flying and driving with high-performance engineered solutions that are paired with advanced manufacturing expertise.
The role of a Manufacturing Operative in the Pre - Finishing department is a key position within not only the operations of the site, but also within the supply chain into both the aerospace and gas industries. The site is solely focused on 2 factors: Quality &amp; Safety.
As an Operator in the pre finishing department your main responsibilities are:
<ul>
<li>High level of focus around EH&amp;S.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and strong quality focus.</li>
<li>Final inspection of products</li>
<li>Operating of machinery</li>
<li>Management of department machinery and identifying any faults</li>
<li>Working flexibly within a small team to ensure all process roles are covered.</li>
<li>To carry out any other reasonable duty as may be required.</li>
</ul>
