About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our NHS warehouse team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring hospitals and healthcare services receive essential medical supplies safely, accurately, and on time, helping to support patient care across the NHS.
You will be working 7:30am-3:30pm. This is a physically demanding role as you will be moving hospital beds as well as smaller items.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and dispatching medical supplies and equipment
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Stock control and inventory management
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, scanners)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Following NHS quality, health & safety, and infection control procedures
- Meeting accuracy and productivity targets
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Good attention to detail and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
- Basic computer or scanner experience is an advantage
This is a temporary to permanent role for the succesful candidate.
