Digital Fulfilment & Insights Advisor

Are you passionate about using data to drive operational improvements and enhance customer experience? We're looking for a proactive and analytical Digital Fulfilment & Insights Advisor to support the performance of customer fulfilment channels and help deliver outstanding service across a nationwide retail operation.

The Role

As a Digital Fulfilment & Insights Advisor, you will play a key role in improving fulfilment performance across digital customer channels. Combining data analysis with operational support, you'll work closely with stores and central teams to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and implement improvements that positively impact customers and business performance.

This hybrid position offers a mixture of office, home-based and field-based activity, with opportunities to visit sites, engage with stakeholders, and influence operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the continuous improvement of digital fulfilment operations across multiple customer fulfilment channels.
  
• Visit locations to review fulfilment processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
  
• Provide guidance and support to operational management teams on fulfilment best practices.
  
• Investigate fulfilment-related issues and work with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  
• Analyse fulfilment, stock, and customer order data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  
• Produce meaningful insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs and highlight areas requiring attention or improvement.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
  
• Support the development and enhancement of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  
• Collaborate with IT, Business Intelligence, and operational teams to improve reporting and processes.
  
• Assist with testing and implementation of new systems, reports, and operational initiatives.
  

About You

• Previous experience within retail operations, fulfilment, stock management, logistics, or supply chain environments.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of the business.
• Flexibility to travel nationally as required.

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Click & Collect, e-commerce, or digital fulfilment operations.
  
• Experience with stock management, ERP, OMS, or WMS systems.
  
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions.
  
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Knowledge of process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
