We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant on a temp - permanent basis to join the busy catering department at Musgrove Park Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a healthcare environment, helping to provide high-quality food and catering services to patients, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Supporting kitchen staff with general catering duties
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are kept tidy
• Washing up and assisting with kitchen cleaning duties
• Adhering to food safety, health and hygiene regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to hospital staff, visitors and patients

What We're Looking For

• Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
• Understanding of food hygiene practices is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary - Permanent 
Pay: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.93 per hour after 12 weeks
Location: Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
