Job description

My client based in Wrexham, is looking for a Production Operator to join their already busy team

 

To assemble and process  products in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and production schedules, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and products to the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow production, assembly, and work instructions at all times.
  • Carry out tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inspect work during the production process and report any defects or non-conformances.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with 5S and company standards.
  • Work effectively as part of the SOS team to achieve daily production targets.
  • Complete relevant production documentation and records accurately.
  • Adhere to all company Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement activities and contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and productivity

 

Skills needed

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and to manage your own work schedule
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements in a factory environment

 

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working with small components or precision assembly.
  • Understanding of quality inspection processes.
  • Experience of working to production targets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing techniques

 

Hours of work are 39 hours a week, day shifts from 8am

£12.75 per hour
