Job description
We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Food Operatives to join our client in a busy food production environment.
This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.
The Role
Working 3:00am to 11:00am, you will work 5 days out of 6, with every Sunday off. The role will include working most Fridays as part of the normal working rota.
Key Duties
- Chopping and peeling vegetables
- Weighing and preparing produce accurately
- Carrying out basic food preparation
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Working efficiently as part of a team
- Completing other general food production duties as required
Working Environment
This is a damp and refrigerated working environment, so applicants must be comfortable working in cool temperatures and wearing the appropriate protective clothing for the duration of their shift.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with a 3:00am start
- Hardworking and able to work at a good pace
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive food preparation tasks
- Able to follow instructions and food hygiene procedures
- A good team player
- Comfortable working in a damp and refrigerated environment
Previous food production experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
