<div class="description">What are the working hours?
The normal working week is 37.5 paid hours.
What breaks will I get?
You will receive a 30-minute paid lunch break plus two 15-minute unpaid breaks during your shift.
Is overtime available?
Yes! Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates:
1.3x after 37.5 hours
1.5x for Saturdays
2x for Sundays and bank holidays
What PPE do I need to wear?
Hi-vis, safety shoes and safety goggles must be worn on site.
Don't worry about the hi-vis or safety goggles — these are provided for you.
What type of contract is available?
The roles are offered on a temporary ongoing basis. However, exceptional candidates may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent contract.</div>

Job Title:&nbsp;Production Operative
Location: Swindon, SN3 5FB
Pay Rate: &pound;14.23 per hour rising to &pound;14.58 after 12 weeks
Working Hours: Fixed shift - 37.5 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Thursday &nbsp;14:00&ndash; 22:30, 14:00- 20:00 Friday

gap Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with GS Yuasa based in Swindon, who are currently looking for multiple Production Operatives to join their fixed late shift.&nbsp;
Responsibilities
<ul class="text">
<li>Testing of the batteries (full training provided)</li>
<li>Putting on sticky labels in the correct place</li>
<li>Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met</li>
<li>Assist in the loading of batteries to the production lines</li>
<li>Transport batteries from one place to another</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met</li>
<li>Conduct inspections and quality control of products</li>
<li>Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required</li>
</ul>
Ideal Candidate:
<ul class="text">
<li>Sharp attention to detail in favour of identifying defects</li>
<li>Self-driven and hard worker</li>
<li>Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required</li>
<li>Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 20/25kg</li>
<li>Willingness to work as part of the team is essential. Full Training is provided.</li>
</ul>
As a part of selection process, candidates must expect the following:
