🧪 Laboratory Production Support Operative

📍 Llanberis | 💷 £13.12 per hour | 📅 Immediate Start

gap personnel are proud to be representing our client in Llanberis, who are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Laboratory Production Support Operative to join their team on a minimum 6-month temporary contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with manufacturing or production experience who is looking to gain experience within a professional laboratory and production environment.

⭐ The Role

As a Laboratory Production Support Operative, you will play an important part in ensuring laboratory and production areas are maintained to a high standard and that equipment is clean, safe and ready for use.

You’ll work closely with both the laboratory and production teams, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

🕒 Working Hours

Monday – Friday

🔹 Week 1: 7:00am – 3:00pm
🔹 Week 2: 10:00am – 6:00pm
🔄 Weekly rotating shift pattern

💷 Pay & Contract

£13.12 per hour

📅 Start Date: 14th September 2026
📄 Minimum 6-month contract
📍 Llanberis

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment to the required standards
  • Ensuring equipment is correctly cleaned and ready for use
  • Supporting laboratory and production teams with daily operational activities
  • Maintaining excellent cleanliness and housekeeping standards
  • Following laboratory, production and cleaning procedures
  • Working in line with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice)
  • Completing tasks accurately and in accordance with company procedures
  • Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies
  • Reporting equipment defects, damage or other issues promptly
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure daily production and laboratory requirements are achieved
  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Carrying out additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the operation

✅ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and able to follow procedures accurately
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within a laboratory environment
  • Experience working to GMP/GDP standards
